Senior Planner | West Yorkshire | £75k – £85k + Package
Looking for a planning role where you can take ownership of programmes and play a key part in delivering construction projects across Yorkshire?
We're recruiting for an established main contractor looking to appoint a Senior Planner to join their West Yorkshire team.
The business delivers a varied workload across commercial, industrial, education and public-sector projects, with the opportunity to get involved from pre-construction through to completion.
The Role;
- Develop and manage construction programmes from tender through to completion
- Work closely with Project Managers and site teams to plan project delivery
- Monitor progress, identify delays and recommend corrective action
- Review construction methods, sequencing and project logistics
- Support tender submissions and pre-construction planning
- Produce programme updates and reports for clients and senior management
- Identify programme risks and opportunities throughout the project
What We're Looking For;
- Experience in construction planning or project management with a main contractor
- Strong understanding of build programmes, sequencing and site operations
- Experience using Asta Powerproject or similar planning software
- Confident working with operational teams, subcontractors and clients
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Open to experienced Planners or Project Managers looking to step into a Senior Planner position
