Senior Strategic Sales Engineer

Monte Monte Carl or o’s growing its Sales Engineering team to accelerate our rapid growth.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key member of the Monte Carl or o’s sales engineering team, providing excellent technical guidance and support to the sales team.
  • Deliver demos and successful evaluation processes, plan production rollouts, position the platform to technical and non‑technical stakeholders and executives, technical solutioning, advocate cross‑functionally for the customer’s needs, and create content to scale your work.
  • Evangelize a category with enormous potential and serve as an early member of the go‑to‑market team reshaping the data industry.
  • Own a high degree of appetite for ambiguity in a startup environment—seek answers where there are none.
  • Participate as part of a high‑performing team that holds itself to a high bar and sets ambitious goals.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering for a technical product, with extensive experience running POV’s.
  • Previous experience working with data products/solutions highly preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work with different sales people, and support other SEs where needed.
  • Demonstrated track record in an early‑stage company or highly ambiguous environment.
  • Firm understanding or experience with cloud data warehousing, data lakes, ETL concepts and workflows, BI solutions, and SQL.
  • High degree of ownership, relentless desire to solve customer problems, and chase down answers.
  • Technical acumen to understand and explain complex architecture.
