About the role

Location: Commutable to Reading

Area to be covered: National with a focus on London & South East

Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000

The role of the Estimator Interior Fit-Out will involve:

  • Predominately an Estimator role with additional commercial manager duties, dealing with a range of interior fit-out projects covering: partitions, furniture, ceilings, fit-out
  • Gain an understanding of project requirements through drawings, specifications, tender documents and client liaison
  • Analyse project plans and perform quantity take-offs to accurately estimate labour, material, equipment and subcontractor costs
  • Obtain and evaluate competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender submissions and proposals in line with client requirements
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams throughout the estimating process
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, pricing information and project documentation
  • Support cost control initiatives and prepare reports for management review and decision-making

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Interior Fit-Out with:

  • Must have Estimating or Commercial Management experience
  • Must come from a contracting fit-out background or a manufacture of partitions, ceilings, furniture or closely related
  • Highly advantageous to have experience with Microsoft Project
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Capable of building and maintaining long term relationships with clients
  • Resilient, hardworking attitude
  • Full UK driving license
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
