For the right candidate, a competitive salary and holiday entitlement, and after a qualifying period a non-contributory pension and profit share. You will be expected to live within easy commuting of East Leeds and have your own transport for site visits.

Company / Job profile

Our clients actively encourage all staff to develop their careers and will provide support and mentoring for candidates working towards becoming chartered - one of their directors is an IStructE interviewer and CPD assessor. The software used is STRAP, SCIA Engineer, Tedds and in-house spreadsheets and we draw using AutoCAD and Revit. The projects currently include ESFA Primary Schools framework, various industrial buildings, residential (apartment blocks and housing), design for off-site manufacturing including modular buildings, timber frame, light gauge steel panel construction, specialist roof cassette systems, specialist pre-cast concrete walling elements. The role is extremely varied and includes running own projects, working with others on larger projects, developing own client relationships. Our Client have built a reputation as problem solvers rather than just being engineers, therefore, they are looking for someone who can think laterally and not simply rely upon software.
