About the role

A highly successful accountancy practice based in Falmouth is looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior, or Senior Accountant into their growing team undertaking a wide-ranging role preparing year end accounts and other wide ranging service delivery.

Based in Falmouth this accountancy practice acts for very wide ranging clients across varying industries acting for wider ranging industry sector OMBs, SMEs and corporate limited company clients, along with acting for smaller sole trader and partnerships.

Full study support, flexible hours, competitive benefits and salary are on offer and the role can be office based, or with a mix of home to office working and also able to accommodate a fully remote working addition for the right candidate.

You will join the team as an Accounts Semi Senior, or Senior Accountant level key addition and will take on increasing responsibility for the hands on preparation of year end accounts preparation, tax compliance, overseeing bookkeeping and increasing involvement in wider project work as you develop within this firm and role and other involvement in wider services as you develop within this team and role.

You will have opportunity to develop technically and progress, carving a long term career move, as a highly valued addition in this team of experienced accountants with support on offer for those pursuing further qualifications.

For this Accounts Semi Senior, or Senior Accountant role you may be AAT qualified, or studying at AAT level 3 or 4, or have developed your career entirely through experience only to date.

Equally you could be pursuing and studying for ACA/ACCA or other qualifications.

You will have a background working the accountancy practice sector for an accounting firm of any size, having anything from at least one to three years, or considerably more experience to date.

You will bring a mix, or any of: year end accounts preparation, audit, tax, bookkeeping, VAT, etc and be looking to find a new career move, where you can become a key, long term addition to a successful team and firm.
