About the role

Location: Salary: £16.00 - £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm, plus alternate Saturdays 7:00am - 1:00pm

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Vehicle Paint Technician to join our busy and growing Bodyshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of the vehicle paint process and will be expected to consistently achieve productivity and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, mask, prime, paint, and finish vehicles to a high standard.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer and company standards.
  • Maintain excellent attention to detail throughout the repair and refinishing process.
  • Work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Support the smooth operation of two paint booths within a high-volume workshop environment.
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician / Paint Sprayer within a bodyshop or accident repair environment.
  • Strong knowledge of all stages of the automotive paint and refinishing process.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage workload.
  • Proven ability to maintain high-quality standards while meeting productivity targets.
  • Capable of painting approximately 15 - 20 vehicles per day across two paint booths.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and committed to delivering excellent results.
