  • Our Business Banking team

Monzo Business is on a mission to make banking effortless for small businesses.

We help people start, run and grow their businesses with simple, transparent banking and tools that reduce financial admin, so they can spend more time focusing on what matters most.

We're launching Monzo Business in Spain, beginning with sole traders and micro-businesses, and this role will play a pivotal part in shaping that journey.

As one of our first Spanish-speaking Customer Acquisition Specialists, you'll be based in our UK Sales team while working closely with colleagues across Spain Go-To-Market, Growth Product, Customer Operations, Risk and Compliance.

You'll do far more than support customers - you'll help us learn, improve and build an exceptional experience from day one.

You’ll play a key role by...

  • Supporting Spanish-speaking prospective customers throughout their onboarding journey via phone and email, helping them confidently navigate Monzo Business.
  • Explaining our products and application process clearly, ensuring customers understand their next steps without providing financial, legal or regulatory advice.
  • Working on assisted-conversion initiatives such as waitlists, application recovery and product education to improve customer outcomes.
  • Capturing customer feedback, recurring questions and journey friction, turning conversations into actionable insights that influence Product, Growth and Operations.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records, consent and activity within our CRM, ensuring excellent data quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborating closely with teams across Sales, Product, Operations, Risk and Compliance to continuously improve our launch and customer experience.
  • Escalating customers appropriately when specialist support is required, always putting customer outcomes first.
  • We’d love to hear from you if…
  • You're fluent in both Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You have experience supporting or selling to small businesses, ideally within financial services, Saa S or another consultative environment.
  • You enjoy building trust with customers by asking thoughtful questions and explaining complex topics in a simple, empathetic way.
  • You're organised and comfortable managing multiple customer conversations while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • You thrive in fast-moving environments where processes are still evolving and you're excited to help shape how things are done.
  • You have strong judgement, high integrity and know when to solve a problem yourself versus escalating to the right team.

Bonus points if you have experience with

  • Banking, payments or other regulated industries.
  • Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Spanish small businesses, sole traders or company formation.
  • Customer research, GTM experimentation or voice-of-customer programmes.
  • Working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Operations, Risk or Compliance teams
