Pay: 96.19 Daily Rate

Masterclass are currently recruiting for two Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming SEN all-through school in the Burgess Hill area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and rewarding environment where you will help pupils with a range of additional needs to access learning and develop confidence. The school supports students across different age groups, so we are looking for someone flexible and adaptable who is happy to work with a variety of needs and within different classroom settings. The school boasts some great facilities like an onsite swimming pool and sensory rooms to help with emotional regulation. It is close to a train station and has plenty of on-site parking.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs
  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
  • Helping to create a safe and supportive learning environment

  • A positive, patient, and caring personality
  • Flexible and able to adapt to different students' needs
  • A genuine interest in supporting children and young people
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Previous SEN experience
