The Role
We’re looking for a friendly, customer-focused Optical Assistant who enjoys working with people and delivering an excellent patient experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Meeting and greeting patients, providing a warm and welcoming service.
- Assisting patients with frame selection and spectacle dispensing.
- Advising on suitable frames and lenses to meet individual needs.
- Taking accurate measurements and ensuring spectacles fit comfortably.
- Carrying out pre-screening and clinical support duties, where trained.
- Assisting with spectacle collections, adjustments and repairs.
- Supporting the Optometrist and wider team with the smooth running of the practice.
- Carrying out general administrative duties.
