The Role
- Welcoming patients and delivering excellent customer service.
- Carrying out pre-screening and pre-test procedures.
- Supporting the Optometrist and ensuring smooth patient handovers.
- Dispensing spectacles and advising on suitable lenses and frames.
- Frame styling, fitting and adjustments.
- Carrying out minor repairs and ensuring glasses fit comfortably.
- Providing contact lens teaches and aftercare, where trained.
- Supporting general administration and appointment management.
- Building strong relationships with patients and helping to create a positive practice experience.
