The Role
You will focus on non-contentious construction, working across major development and regeneration projects. The role will involve drafting and negotiating a broad range of construction and engineering documentation, likely including:
- Building contracts
- Professional appointments
- Collateral warranties
- Development agreements
- Procurement documentation
- Construction security and ancillary documents
You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers while also taking responsibility for your own matters and client relationships. The work is varied, high-value and often part of large-scale, multi-disciplinary teams.
The Requirements
The successful candidate will:
- Have at least 5 years’ PQE in non-contentious construction
- Be confident drafting and negotiating standard form and bespoke contracts
- Possess strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills
- Enjoy collaborating on major development, infrastructure and real estate projects
