About the role

Job Description Chef/Cook in a Small Nursing Home40 Hours per week Beccles NR34 9BE£13.45/hr Working in a truly stunning 6 bed LD Nursing Home, for a market leading healthcare provider.

You must have at least 2 years UK catering experience.

  • Permanent 40 hours per week (Guaranteed hours)£13.45 per hour Rated 9.7 / 10 by Care Home
  • Shift

Pattern:40 hours per week between 7:00am - 8pm (Own transport Essential due to lack of public transport)40 hours is 5 x 8 hour shifts.

Maintain accurate records of food orders and inventory.

Ensure that all food is stored, prepared, and served in a safe and hygienic manner.

Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and service.

Skills and

Attributes: Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.

Education and

Qualification: Food Hygiene Certified Level 2 willing to work towards Intermediate Food Hygiene qualifications.

NVQ Level 2/3 in Food Preparation/Catering.
