As an innovative global company, technology is at the heart of everything we do, so we’re looking for someone who can rise to the challenge of introducing, embedding and tracking changes, and taking people on the journey with you. You’ll be on the move in a busy and fast-paced environment, tackling different problems and working with a variety of teams at all levels, so strong communication and collaboration skills are a must.

  • You will…

Manage the portfolio of projects for the 4 Northern Europe hubs, meeting regularly with the teams to discuss upcoming projects, resource needs and keeping central information up to date
  • Own the tracking and consolidation of regular project status reporting, escalating risks and dependencies when necessary
  • Support the research, set-up & roll-out of a new transformation workstream across IT Europe zone
  • Support the embedding of project management & agile methodologies, including their translation into workable tools & templates
  • Work with the Northern Europe Portfolio Management Officer to rollout, embed and monitor Global and Zone Governance processes
  • Contribute to process improvement and help maintain best practice through the gathering of feedback and suggesting improvements
  • Contribute to the evolution of our IT Europe PMO community
  • Gain awareness of project management practices and methodologies

You have…

  • Must be self-motivated with strong sense of ownership
  • Highly organised, accurate and excellent attention to detail
  • A passion for successful project delivery
  • A good level of Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced project environment and under pressure
  • Strong team player

You are …

In your second year at University on a course which enables you to take an Industrial Placement Year (unfortunately if you have graduated you are not eligible).

At L’Oréal, we take pride in creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment where everyone is welcome and their contributions are valued. When we recruit, hire, train, promote or engage in any other employment practice, we are committed to being an inclusive employer regardless of race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, socioeconomic status, medical condition or disability, or any other protected status. When we look for talent, we welcome difference – different backgrounds, experiences, personalities and perspectives. The beauty we find in our differences gives us the freedom to go beyond. That’s the beauty of L’Oréal.

Next steps…

Once you click apply you will be asked some questions to check you are eligible for this role. These will be questions around your current situation, whether you’re happy with the salary, location etc.

If you are eligible to apply, you will then be sent a link via email to ‘Step 2’ of the application process; the online assessments. Keep an eye out for this (it might even land in your spam folder!). Although there is no deadline for completion, the quicker you submit your answers the quicker we can continue to move you through the process!

Once we have your results, our recruiters will conduct a final review of your entire application and if successful, invite you to an Assessment Centre. Please be patient with us as we receive a high volume of applications and want to spend time going through each of them.

Our Assessment Centres this year will mostly be in person, they will be running from when applications open until the roles are filled. These Assessment Centres are specific to function, so please be patient if you don’t get invited straight away – it might just be because your function’s Assessment Centre date isn’t until later on in the recruitment period!

Please note, if you apply for more than one role you will be put forward for the one we deem most suitable for you. If you have a strong preference, please only apply to that one role to ensure you are considered for the correct role.

  • You can apply to up to three jobs within a rolling 30-day window.
  • You cannot withdraw your application once you applied, so please make sure to choose a job that matches your dreams.
  • Please visit “Your Application Space” to see the jobs you have already applied to.
  • Please don’t create another account with a different email. If you do so, your account might be merged and your application record will be deleted.
