The Company
Our client is a well-established financial services business headquartered in Birmingham. The Role
This newly created role will report directly to the CFO and take ownership of the finance function. You will play a critical part in maintaining financial control and regulatory compliance while also supporting the strategic development of the business. Key responsibilities include statutory and management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, leading the production of monthly and quarterly management accounts and managing internal controls and process improvement initiatives.

The Person
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with at least 5 years' experience in a senior financial leadership role within a regulated financial services business. With a good understanding of FCA regulations and a strong technical background, you will be confident leading and mentoring a team, able to develop positive relationships with key stakeholders.
