Hackney Council is looking for a motivated and detail-focused Technical Licensing Officer to join our Private Sector Housing Licensing Service.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy regulatory environment supporting property licensing, improving housing standards, and helping deliver better outcomes for residents.
- Process property licensing applications and carry out regulatory checks
- Maintain accurate records, databases and statutory registers
- Support compliance, enforcement and licensing decision-making
- Contribute to service improvements and digital processes
As you progress to SO1 level, you will take on more complex casework, technical decision-making, quality assurance and mentoring responsibilities.
Experience in housing, licensing, compliance, regulation or similar environments.
