Setting Out Engineer - Leeds / Grimsby (Temp to Perm) Location: Leeds, with travel to Grimsby Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Start Date: Immediate Rate: Competitive (DOE) Linsco Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer on behalf of a well-established contractor specialising in the construction of large industrial and commercial warehouse developments. The successful candidate will initially be based on a project in Leeds , before travelling to Grimsby to assist in completing an existing project. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to secure a long-term, temp-to-perm position with a growing contractor. Responsibilities Setting out for industrial and warehouse construction projects. Carrying out surveys and producing accurate site measurements. Working closely with Site Managers and Project Managers to ensure works are delivered to programme. Checking drawings and resolving any setting out issues on site. Maintaining quality control throughout the construction process. Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements. Keeping accurate site records and as-built information. Requirements Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer on industrial, commercial or steel frame projects. Ideally have their own kit but not essential Experience working on warehouse/'shed' construction projects is highly desirable. Proficient with Leica, Trimble or similar surveying equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. CSCS Card. Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel between Leeds and Grimsby. What's on Offer Competitive day rate Immediate start.
