About the role

Overview

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Trainer Assessor within the Childcare and Education curriculum area.

The successful applicant will work as part of a team delivering high quality training and assessment.

Experience of prior assessing is key – we want someone who is a qualified assessor and committed to providing the highest quality service to both students and employers.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality training and assessment to students
  • Support students to ensure timely completion of their qualifications
  • Provide motivating feedback and help students overcome potential barriers to progression
  • Work collaboratively to drive the provision toward outstanding outcomes

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified assessor with significant prior assessing experience
  • Experience of the T‑Level Early Years pathway and/or the T‑Level Assisting Teaching pathway
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years
  • Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent)
  • Assessor's award
  • Extensive knowledge of the Childcare and Education sector and a wide network of contacts in the field
