Lear Corporation is looking for a Costing/Estimating Manager who will work with the finance team on the costing for a new project with a prestigious OEM. He will report directly to the Financial Director.
Responsibilities
- Manage the process of new RFQ with other teams (Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering and Finance) to obtain the right financial level requested by Division on time and accurately.
- Manage Cost analysis teams to obtain all activities requested by the system, evolution of costs and price during the developments of the product.
- Cost analysis support for new requests and modification tooling and variable cost (was-is).
- Cost analysis support and manage with other Intercompany divisions (Foam, Trim covers, Headrests, Wire harness and Metal parts) process of make or buy.
- Providing MGR update on risks & opportunities for all development products.
- Interacting with Engineering, Sales, Program Management Teams, Purchasing and Cost Analysis.
- Contributing to Lear financial strategy and decision-making processes.

Experience Requirements
- Finance qualifications required.
- Nice to have experience in working in Automotive or Production facilities.
- Leadership skills with proven experience in managing successful teams.
- Excellent communication skills and business acumen.
- Ability to work closely and build partnerships with other departments and functions including senior level management.
- High level of reliability and working ethics.
- Ability to work under time pressure and deadlines.
- Computer literacy with advanced MS Excel skills.
