- Lead DFM decisions across housings, materials, tooling, and manufacturing constraints.
- Own CAD models and drawings in Siemens NX to manufacturing standard.
- Work with China-based manufacturing partners to resolve build and quality issues.
- Support prototyping, validation, and technical documentation across development stages.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or Design Engineering.
- 5+ years as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Product Design Engineer, or Design Engineer.
- Proven experience taking products from concept through tooling into manufacture.
- Strong DFM knowledge across injection moulding, plastics, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience integrating electronics mechanically, including PCB mounting, wiring, and thermal considerations.
