About the role

WHO WE ARE ☝🏼

Kintiga is a specialist, pan-European consultancy focused on helping clients secure patient access for new innovations.

We combine global perspectives with deep local expertise, working with companies as they navigate the realities of bringing new therapies to market.

We believe impact comes from focus.

Rather than covering multiple aspects of consulting, we concentrate on market access and HEOR — areas where we have real depth.

This allows us to work on complex, high-stakes challenges and deliver work that stands up to scrutiny.

Our culture is a strength: thoughtful, collaborative, and entrepreneurial.

We value clear thinking, honest work, and practical impact — helping improve access to the latest medicines for patients across Europe.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 🔍

As HEOR Director, you will lead and develop Kintiga’s HEOR capability, providing strategic, technical, commercial and people leadership across Health Economics and Outcomes Research.

You will bring significant and proven health economic modelling expertise, with a strong focus on modelling excellence, technical standards and delivery quality, while also providing senior leadership across related HEOR methods including evidence synthesis, real-world evidence, outcomes research and HTA strategy.

You will help drive capability building, client engagement and commercial growth.

You will act as the technical authority for the team, ensuring methodological rigour, high-quality delivery, and clear, compelling communication of complex evidence to diverse stakeholders.

You will set modelling standards, provide senior technical review, strengthen quality and consistency, and build the team’s capability across the HEOR spectrum.

You’ll join a dynamic, mission-driven consultancy where your expertise will directly shape our HEOR practice, influence client strategy, and support better patient access to innovative therapies.

This is an opportunity to lead, innovate, and grow within a supportive and ambitious environment.

  • WHAT YOU'LL LEAD AND DELIVER
  • Technical Leadership
  • Lead and set standards for the design and development of advanced health economic models (cost‑effectiveness, budget impact, early HTA, disease‑progression).
  • Ensure alignment with HTA requirements across NICE, SMC, NCPE and international agencies.
  • Lead NMAs, ITCs, comparative effectiveness analyses, and RWE study design and interpretation.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex modelling challenges and ensure robust QA across all deliverables.
  • Integrate clinical, epidemiological, and economic evidence into coherent HEOR narratives.
  • Team Leadership & Capability Building
  • Build modelling capability across the team, ensuring colleagues develop strong foundations in model design, coding, validation, interpretation, quality review and client-ready communication.
  • Develop wider HEOR capability across evidence synthesis, RWE, outcomes research and HTA strategy
  • Strengthen consistency of technical standards, quality expectations and delivery approach across the HEOR team.
  • Line manages and mentor health economists across all levels.
  • Build a culture of analytical excellence, continuous learning, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Design and deliver training programmes to strengthen modelling, coding, and quantitative skills.
  • Lead and shape recruitment, onboarding, and career development as the team scales.
  • Client Engagement & Strategic Advisory
  • Lead key/senior client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on HEOR strategy and evidence generation.
  • Translate complex technical outputs into clear insights for non‑technical audiences.
  • Lead workshops, technical discussions, and advisory sessions with confidence and authority.
  • Commercial & Practice Growth
  • Lead proposals, scoping, pricing, and client relationship development.
  • Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and enhance delivery efficiency.
  • Support revenue forecasting, resource planning, and portfolio management.
  • Represent Kintiga at conferences and contribute to thought leadership.
