About the role

Do you have experience using mobile plant equipment? Do you have Lifting / Slinging, plant or FLT certification? If so, this exciting new role could be for you! Our client is looking for a Mobile Plant Operative to join their team and help operate equipment and machinery in an Energy Recovery Facility (ERF).

Responsibilities:

  • Operating heavy plant equipment
  • Operation of overhead cranes
  • Operating forklift trucks
  • Any other machinery as required in accordance with ERF procedures
  • Traffic management
  • Weighbridge operation
  • Plant checks
  • Site cleaning duties
  • Manage waste movements

Requirements:

  • Experience in the operation of mobile plant via construction more likely than engineering
  • Lifting / Slinging, plant or FLT certification desirable
  • Experience of safe systems of work, permits for work, procedures, risk assessments and associated safety documentation
  • Engineering, Technical or Operational qualification desirable
  • Ability to think logically and solve problems effectively and efficiently

Hours:

  • Monday – Friday (Earlies and lates)
  • 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Week one
  • 10:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Week two
  • 1 Saturday shift every 7 weeks, 6:30 – 3 p.m.

Package:

  • Up to £41,500
  • Annual bonus: UP TO (10%)
  • 25 Days + 8 bank holidays (Can pick and choose if you want to work BH or keep it and take another day off)
