About the role

As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end planning, coordination and execution of supply chain activities for the Portadown site. You will ensure that materials, components and finished goods flow efficiently and cost-effectively through procurement, production, warehousing and distribution. You will drive operational excellence, optimise planning processes, support supplier performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives to ensure strong service levels and cost control.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the site supply chain strategy to support production and business objectives.
  • Oversee forecasting, materials planning and production scheduling to ensure OTIF performance.
  • Manage inventory levels and implement controls to avoid shortages or overstock.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance and drive risk-mitigation actions.
  • Oversee inbound/outbound logistics and warehouse operations.
  • Ensure accurate SAP/MRP data and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Track key KPIs and provide insights to site leadership, including contingency planning.

Qualifications and skills

  • Min. 3 years experience in supply chain management or planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, inventory control, production planning and logistics.
  • Experience working with SAP / MRP / ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
