Assistant Restaurant General Manager in Surrey

Responsibilities Support the team and take charge of the day‑to‑day to hit performance goals.

Own the operations, atmosphere and guest experience to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Build and motivate a dream team by training, coaching and encouraging staff to exceed standards.

Own KPIs, support the team and make sure each shift delivers the expected results.

Keep operations running efficiently – manage rosters, stock, and ensure cleanliness, compliance and smooth back‑of‑house work.

Provide excellent guest experience and turn first‑timers into regulars.

Work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and late‑night closes up to 3:00am.

Qualifications Lead by example and have experience managing teams.

Know how to bring out the best in people, build strong teams and handle tough conversations.

Ensure operations are efficient, clean, compliant and organised even in a hectic environment.

Be fully flexible with a wide range of shift schedules.
