A Country House Hotel within the Lake District is seeking a Restaurant Manager to manage the daily operation of this casual dining restaurant. A great personality is key for this role with a warmth and ability to build rapport quickly with staff and guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading & motivating the restaurant team. They will drive the highest levels of customer service in this luxurious venue.
The Essential Skills:
- Recent experience as a Restaurant Manager in a busy Gastropub or casual dining restaurant or hotel; however, would consider a very strong Assistant Restaurant Manager with a proven background looking for their first Managerial role
- Be an excellent motivator with strong leadership skills
- Able to deal with peak time rushes and high volume especially with afternoon teas
- Career-minded and ambitious, with a desire to succeed
- Ability to train, develop and nurture your team and for them to achieve great success
- Ability to welcome guests and ensure that they are satisfied at all times
