Class 2 driver temp to perm

Location: Derby (DE24)

Pay: £16.00 per hour (paid weekly, every Friday)

Hours: Monday to Friday | Regular starts between 06:00-08:00

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 Driver to join a well-established transport company based in Derby. This is a temp to perm opportunity, meaning that after 12 weeks you will have the chance to secure a permanent position within a respected business that values its drivers. This role is focused on Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) deliveries only. That means no multi-drop work and no heavy lifting just steady, straightforward driving with a company that runs a modern, well-maintained fleet.

What the Role Involves

• Starting your shift from the Derby depot at a set time each morning.
• Collecting goods and completing deliveries to Regional Distribution Centers.
• Driving pre-planned routes that are straightforward and manageable.
• Handling paperwork accurately and keeping to driver compliance regulations.
• Returning to depot and finishing your shift in good time.

What We Expect From You

• HGV Class 2 (Category C) license.
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho Card.
• A minimum of 2 years Class 2 driving experience.
