About the role

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Hot Kitchen Chef to work with a leading company in the airline catering sector in London.

Shift patterns: 14:00 - 22:00 | Mon - Sun | Fixed

Pay rates: £15.99 hourly

Must-have requirements for Hot Kitchen Chef:

  • Full 5-year work, education, and address history with no gaps
  • Overseas criminal record check required if applicable (if lived outside the UK for 6+ months)
  • Must be eligible for a Basic DBS check (required for airside clearance)
  • No unspent convictions that would prevent clearance
  • Must have long-term UK work rights (British passport, ILR, or Settled Status)
  • HMRC employment history letter required
  • Must live within commuting distance for early shifts (e.g. 6am starts)
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and early mornings

Desirable requirements for Hot Kitchen Chef:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or food production environment
  • Experience in a fast-paced or high-volume setting
  • Food Safety Level 2 certification (training can be provided)
