A company where Registered Managers are actually listened to, supported and respected. We’re currently looking for an experienced Registered Manager to join a well-established and growing children’s residential care provider. This isn’t a business where you’re simply given a home, handed a set of targets and left to get on with it. The company has built its reputation around support, communication and developing its managers, with an open-door culture where your views genuinely matter. The senior leadership team are approachable, accessible and involved. If you’ve got an idea, you’re encouraged to bring it forward. If you’ve got a problem, you can pick up the phone. If you need support, it’s there. The door is always open. Managers are trusted to run their homes, but they’re never expected to do it alone.

What makes this opportunity different?

  • £65,000 salary + bonus
  • A genuinely supportive senior leadership team
  • An established and successful provider
  • A culture where managers are heard, valued and respected
  • Real autonomy to lead your home
  • Regular support and communication from senior management
  • A company that invests in its people
  • Opportunities for progression as the organisation continues to grow
  • A focus on quality care and positive outcomes for young people
  • A team that understands that good homes are built by good people, and that managers need the right environment to succeed.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous Registered Manager experience within children’s residential care
  • Understands Ofsted, safeguarding and the regulatory framework
  • Can lead, motivate and develop a strong staff team
  • Is confident managing the day-to-day running of a children’s home
  • Has high standards and genuinely cares about outcomes for young people
  • Wants to work for a company where their experience and opinions are valued
  • Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of something, rather than feeling like they’re simply managing a home on their own.

If you’re an experienced Registered Manager and you’re looking for a company where senior management actually listen, your ideas are taken seriously and support is there when you need it, I’d be keen to have a confidential conversation.
