What You’ll Be Doing
- As a Commercial Gas Safe Field Service Engineer, you'll play a critical role in maintaining, servicing, and repairing gas fired industrial food processing equipment at customer sites across the UK and Ireland.
- You’ll ensure gas systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with regulations — all while delivering exceptional service and support.
- Perform scheduled service, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial gas systems (CDGA1/CIGA1).
- Respond to breakdowns, identifying faults quickly and implementing effective solutions.
- Commission new gas fired systems in food processing environments.
- Complete service documentation, safety checks, and compliance reports.
- Communicate clearly with customers about findings, solutions, and preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture aligned with JBT Marel’s zero-accident policy.

What Kind of Person Are You?
- You’re a practical, hands-on engineer who thrives on autonomy and accountability.
- Safety is second nature to you, and you take pride in delivering high-quality technical work.
- CDGA1 and/or CIGA1 Gas Safe certification (essential).
- Proven experience servicing or commissioning commercial gas systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Comfortable working independently in the field.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland with overnight stays as well as occasional international travel.
- Domestic Gas Safe Candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
