Reporting under Continuous Process Improvement (CPI), you will leverage Lean Six Sigma and process improvement methodologies to drive data quality, streamline data governance workflows, and eliminate root causes of data defects. By partnering with senior leadership across IT, BI, Finance, Sales, Planning, Supply Chain, and Brand/Product Development, you will ensure operational master data serves as a trusted foundation for enterprise decision-making, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives. Come join one of the world’s biggest toy-making companies and help us shape the future of play!
What You Will Do:

Build, lead, and mentor a team of data operations managers and analysts while driving accountability for master data quality across the organization
Drive change management and serve as the Data Ops Council Leader on the Data Governance Committee to establish clear data ownership and stewardship models
Partner with the CPI team to co-sponsor process improvement projects (using DMAIC and root cause analysis), targeting recurring data defects and refining standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Integrate Lean Six Sigma tools into MDM workflows to reduce cycle times and errors, while tracking joint KPIs (e.g., data defect rate, process cycle time)
Act as a key stakeholder for the selection, implementation, and optimization of MDM platforms, including leading data cleansing and migration during ERP implementations or M&A
Establish enterprise operational data quality KPIs/SLAs, oversee master data workflows, and ensure data readiness for AI/ML initiatives by collaborating with BI and IT teams
Perform other duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For:
10+ years of experience in master data management (MDM), data governance, or enterprise data strategy, including 4+ years in a direct leadership or people management role
Proven experience building and scaling enterprise MDM programs, overseeing master data workflows, and managing budgets or vendor contracts
Deep knowledge of MDM platforms, ERP systems, modern data architecture, and data governance frameworks
Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies with proven experience resolving data quality issues
Strong executive presence with exceptional communication skills, demonstrating a track record of presenting to senior leadership and driving organizational change
Experience leading MDM through major transformation events such as ERP implementations, M&A integrations, or cloud migrations
Nice To Have:
Bachelor's degree (or Master's preferred) in Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field is a plus
Certification in data governance or management (such as CDMP, DAMA, or DGSP) is a plus
Industry-specific experience relevant to consumer products or manufacturing
