A full-time, permanent Security Systems Engineer position covering installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems. The role is field based, working on client sites across the North East, with work conducted in person.
Key responsibilities:
- Install, commission, service, and maintain intruder, CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems.
- Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and complete routine preventative maintenance.
- Manage own workload, including planned works and reactive callouts.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all work meets industry and accreditation standards.
Skills and experience:
- Proven experience with intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems.
- Strong communication skills with clients and internal teams.
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage installations and routine service.
- Demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Full UK driving licence (required).
