About the role

Join our team as a Lab Technician Intern and gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional laboratory environment at ICS Madrid. Working alongside experienced science educators and laboratory staff, you will support the preparation of practical lessons, assist with laboratory organisation and maintenance, and help ensure that equipment and materials are ready for teaching and learning activities.

This internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical laboratory skills, apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting, and gain insight into laboratory operations within an educational environment.

We are looking for a motivated, organised, and detail-oriented student who is passionate about science and eager to learn. The ideal candidate will be studying a science-related discipline and demonstrate strong organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You should be comfortable following procedures, maintaining high standards of safety, and supporting a busy laboratory environment.

This opportunity is offered as an external academic internship and is exclusively available to students currently enrolled in a recognised educational institution (university, vocational training programme, or equivalent). The internship must form part of the student's academic programme and be covered by an internship agreement between the educational institution and the school, in accordance with Spanish regulations governing external academic placements.

If you are looking to gain meaningful laboratory experience, develop your technical and professional skills, and contribute to a dynamic educational setting while completing your studies, we would love to hear from you. Applicants must be able to commit to an internship of at least six months.
