About the role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join a well-established engineering client based in Stevenage. This is a fantastic opportunity offering long-term, stable work with excellent overtime and shift flexibility.

Hours: 50–55 hours available per week

Shifts: Day or Night shifts available

Pay Rate: £16.00 – £22.00 per hour DOE

Benefits:

  • Overtime paid at T+1/2
  • Statutory pension scheme contributions in place
  • 22 days holiday + 3 additional days
  • Regular, consistent working hours available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings
  • Cutting, bending, forming, and finishing metal parts
  • Operating a range of workshop machinery and tools
  • Ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Worker in an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Reliable and flexible to meet production demands
