The Registered Nurse, holding a valid NMC Pin, will deliver exceptional nursing care across various locations. As part of an agency team, the nurse must be adaptable, reliable, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Care: Provide and supervise high-quality nursing care tailored to individual needs, including care planning, assessments, and reviews. Monitor, assess, and evaluate patients' health and escalate concerns to medical professionals as needed. Ensure care aligns with current best practices, national standards, and local policies of each placement. Promote dignity, comfort, and respect for residents, adapting care approaches to various care settings.
  • Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments in line with NMC standards and each facility's policies. Accurately maintain medication administration records (MAR) and report any adverse reactions or medication errors. Conduct medication audits when required, ensuring compliance with medication handling regulations.
  • Care Planning: Collaborate with care teams to develop, implement, and review individual care plans. Participate in regular assessments, adjusting care plans to meet changing patient needs. Involve patients and families in care decisions, respecting their wishes and promoting holistic care.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and support to care staff, ensuring effective, patient-centred care delivery. Qualifications and Skills:
