- Confidence in dealing with queries from guests, managers and colleagues
- Enjoy making fast paced decisions with accuracy and care
- Experience in reception at supervisory level minimum is required
- Drive and passion to seek out opportunities to go above and beyond for our guests

Aim of the Duty Manager role
To ensure the wellbeing and 5 star experience of all guests during their time at the hotel and maintaining a high level of host presence throughout to ensure the overall smooth running of the hotel at all times when on duty.
Key responsibilities of the Duty Manager:
- Ensuring all guests receive prompt service and guidance relating to their stay
- Be confident in handling guest requirements, special requests and queries with compassion and accuracy
- Ensuring you are prepared for every shift with faultless hotel knowledge
- Show passion for your guests’ experience by attending daily briefings to learn about special occasions, requirements and VIP guests
- Take ownership in dealing with a varied day from breakfast to busy checkouts
- Awareness of all health & safety requirements, including fire marshal duties and fire walks
- Be flexible in covering all departments and offer support regarding the team to ensure they are equipped for service
- Take ownership in the smooth running of all departments during your shift
- Cover reception/ night shifts if required
