This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Oncology Pharmacist to play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred clinical pharmacy services within a specialist cancer setting. You will contribute to the safe and effective management of oncology treatments, supporting service development, and clinical governance initiatives.
We are looking for a GPhC registered Pharmacist with significant oncology experience, strong knowledge of systemic anti-cancer therapies, and hands-on experience with electronic prescribing systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team. You will be proactive, resourceful, and committed to improving patient outcomes, driving service innovation, and maintaining the highest standards of medicines management and patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver safe, effective clinical pharmacy services for oncology patients, ensuring compliance with national standards and best practice.
- Support the development and optimisation of electronic prescribing systems, including protocol management and clinical governance for SACT regimens.
- Contribute to service development, audit programmes, and medicines management processes to enhance quality, safety and efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve oncology services, support patient care and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
