We are looking for an experienced Consultant with a true passion for payments and the financial/banking industry. This is a key role within the Icon Payments Centre of Excellence where you will have an opportunity to represent us professionally in customer engagements delivering a range of consultancy propositions. This could include supporting end to end transformation journeys, enabling organisations to do more with what they already have or advising on the strategy and delivery of new payment initiatives and products.
About you:
- You are someone with experience of and knowledge of the payments ecosystem, latest industry trends and regulatory requirements such as Open Banking APIs, Request to Pay, IS020022, NPA, EPI, Instant Payments etc.
- You are articulate, and confident in dealing with and presenting to stakeholders at all levels and know how to craft high quality deliverables and present in a creative, engaging and impactful manner.
- You will ideally already have experience in the consulting sector, but if you have strong experience in client facing roles and can clearly demonstrate how you can pivot this experience to consultancy, we would be interested in talking to you.
What do our Payments Consultants do?
- Advise financial institutions how to solve complex IT transformation challenges by shaping and future proofing the strategy that dynamically enables them to respond and stay ahead of ongoing regulatory changes, technology evolution and payment disruption from forces that are challenging traditional business models.
- Help clients to understand/capture requirements and work with them to develop comprehensive efficient solutions with corresponding operational and support models.
- Support presales and business development activities such as discovery sessions for new prospects, bid preparation and developing new consultancy propositions.
- Continually research and engage with the industry to keep on top of the latest trends and determine the impact and opportunities for our customers.
- Contribute to blogs, whitepapers, articles and podcasts to promote Icon’s thought leadership in the industry.
