Industrial Cleaning Operative
JCB Heavy Products, Uttoxeter
£12.71 per hour
Monday to Friday | 6:00am to 2:00pm (40 hours per week)
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for an Industrial Cleaning Operative to join the team at JCB Heavy Products in Uttoxeter.
This is a physically demanding role suited to someone who enjoys being active throughout the day. You'll be working in a large industrial manufacturing environment, helping to keep production areas clean, safe, and organised.
Due to the nature of the site, candidates should be comfortable with a high level of physical activity, including regular walking, lifting, and general cleaning duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Emptying wheelie bins across production lines and work areas
- Sweeping and mopping factory floors
- Wiping down machinery, equipment, and workstations
- Maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the site
- Supporting a safe and tidy working environment
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Good level of physical fitness
- Comfortable working in a large industrial environment
- Able to walk approximately 15,000 steps per day
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Previous industrial cleaning or factory experience is beneficial but not essential
