Job Description Summary:
ROLE AND PURPOSE
To provide an effective and efficient catering and hospitality service which meets the requirements of the customer at various venues where the Company provides catering services. We are also recruiting for casual positions to work across our cafes and bars.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- To provide a quality catering service and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, including the clearing of tables and clean down in a quick and professional manner and assisting with the pot wash, as required.
- To prepare food and drink in strict adherence to Food Safety Act 1990 and to work in accordance with relevant codes of practice with regards to Food Hygiene.
- To ensure the proper rotation and security of stock to minimise any risk to the Company and public keeping the duty manager informed of stock levels required.
- To effectively carry out cleaning tasks in accordance with procedures and COSHH regulations to maintain a high level of hygiene, facility presentation and customer satisfaction.
- To be responsible for the security of all cash handling, stock control and keys in accordance with risk management procedures.
- To be responsive to the needs of the customer dealing efficiently with enquiries and minor complaints.
- To ensure all daily temperature readings for hot food and refrigeration are effectively carried out and recorded as per food hygiene guidelines.
- The Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and associated legislation places responsibilities for health and safety on Hull Culture and Leisure, as your employer and you as an employee of the company. In addition to the Company’s overall duties, the post holder has personal responsibility for their own health and safety and that of other employees; additional and more specific responsibilities are identified in the Company’s Corporate Health and Safety policy.
