Working alongside your team of Optical Assistants and an Optometrist, you will be managing the clinics and leading the store and team, providing patients with cost-effective optical products and a superb customer experience. You will undertake the day-to-day management of the store, ensuring the right ethos and culture is maintained and developed.
Duties:
- Assist all types of customers in selecting appropriate eyewear based on prescriptions and style preferences.
- Conduct precise fittings to ensure comfort and functionality of eyeglasses.
- Utilise your knowledge to educate clients on lens options and frame features.
- Manage single to double testing clinics, ensuring smooth workflow and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the laboratory team to ensure accurate lens preparation and timely delivery.
- Maintain a well-organised dispensary and manage administrative tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
- Must be registered with the GOC.
- Previous experience in optical dispensing is required.
