Hoop Education is looking for a dedicated, compassionate and experienced ALN Teaching Assistant to support children with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties in a specialist Secondary school setting.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about helping children with additional learning needs reach their full potential in a caring, supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
Supporting pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), autism, physical disabilities and complex learning needs .
Providing tailored one-to-one and small-group support in line with individual development plans.
Assisting with personal care, mobility and general wellbeing when required, always maintaining pupils' dignity and safety.
Supporting sensory activities, communication development and differentiated learning.
Encouraging positive behaviour, emotional regulation, independence and inclusion.
Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff and specialist professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates who:
Have previous experience supporting children or young people with ALN or complex learning needs .
Are patient, compassionate, calm and adaptable.
Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Are confident working independently and as part of a team.
Understand the importance of safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing.
Must hold a valid Child Only Workforce DBS, or willing to obtain one
