Home, a place where you belong Housing Manager – Income & Allocations is a role where your judgement matters, and your work makes a difference.
You'll manage customer rent accounts, attend court hearings and work with internal and external partners to resolve problems, and also work with our allocations team to support customers into their new homes.

What you'll do
- Build trusted relationships with customers and attend Court Hearings on behalf of Home Group.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to support customers.
- Manage allocations with the South Region
- Ensure compliance with documentation and manage the rent collection by following Home Groups arrears process.
- Take ownership of Rent related issues from first contact through to resolution.

- You have
- Experience in Housing Management or a similar customer focused role.
- Knowledge of Housing law, welfare benefits, safeguarding, and sustaining tenancies.
- Experience in dealing with rent accounts within a Housing association or local authority setting.
- Strong organisation skills and take ownership from start to finish.
- Experience in allocations & lettings, ideally within a Housing Association or local authority setting

- The practical bits
- You'll work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
- This will be a hybrid role with a minimum 2 days in our Portsmouth office.
- You need a vehicle insured for business use (full driving licence), and we pay your mileage.
- You need an Enhanced DBS check that we pay for.
