About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Finance Officer. 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.30am - 2.30pm. Term Time plus 5 days, 39 weeks per year.

Salary: Range 9-11 of the NJC pay framework for Support Staff, £26,818 - £28,634 per annum (reduced to £16,608.39 - £17,733.04 per annum pro rata) to reflect the reduced working nature of this role, 38 weeks plus 5 days per year. Standard practice is to appoint at bottom of scale.

Role Overview

As the Finance Officer, you will support the Operations Manager/People and Finance Operations Director in providing a professional and efficient financial service for all stakeholders, including students, in line with the College’s financial regulations, processes and relevant legislation. You will have a keen eye for detail, to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and have strong time management skills. Applicants should ideally be educated to Level 3 (A level or equivalent) and have a financial qualification such as AAT, or relevant work experience.
