We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated HGV Waste Collection Driver to join our dedicated waste management team operating across the Runnymede area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their driving, enjoys working outdoors, and wants to be part of a team that helps keep communities clean and safe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate HGV refuse collection vehicles on assigned routes.
  • Work alongside the collection crew to complete domestic, recycling, food waste, and commercial waste collections.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and promptly report any defects or maintenance issues.
  • Provide a professional and friendly service while representing the company within the local community.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies at all times.
  • Complete daily paperwork, vehicle checks, and records accurately.

What We're Looking For

  • Valid Category C (Class 2) HGV Licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • A positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of road safety and current driving regulations.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Previous experience in waste collection or refuse driving is desirable, but not essential.
