HiStory Hospitality is looking for an experienced Head of Reservations to lead and elevate guest experience and reservations across its restaurants and future projects. Owned and operated by two Michelin-starred Chef Tom Sellers, the group includes Restaurant Story, Story Cellar, Dovetale at 1 Hotel Mayfair, and events company Once Upon a Time. This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside world-class teams, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping guest journeys from first contact to farewell, ensuring every interaction reflects the highest standards of hospitality.
As Guest Relations Manager, you will take ownership of the reservations function, guest data, and service communication, acting as the bridge between front of house, management, and guests. A deep working knowledge of OpenTable is essential for this role.

Head of Reservations Requirements
- Warm, confident and genuinely hospitable personality with a passion for guest experience
- Proven experience and advanced knowledge of OpenTable (configuration, reporting, guest notes, tagging, floor plans and optimisation)
- Strong understanding of reservations strategy, guest profiling and yield management
- Ability to manage and prioritise high volumes of telephone, email and online reservation requests
- Professional and articulate communicator with fluent spoken and written English
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and administrative skills
- Calm and solutions-focused, able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Proactive and hands-on approach, working closely with restaurant teams during service
- Passion for food, beverage and exceptional service standards
- Previous experience in high-end or Michelin-level restaurants
- A natural leader and team player, supporting and developing host and reservations teams
