We are currently seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join a highly reputable client focused on civil engineering. This is a consulting role and therefore the candidate must showcase consulting experiences.
Salary: £55k to £75K pending on experience within 3 miles of Abingdon.
Duties:
- Work closely with clients as a consultant
- CDM risk assessment & mitigation
- Road Safety Audits (Stages 1-4)
- Servicing & delivery design/management
- Highway design local authority & private (S38 / 184 / 278)
- Vehicle swept path analysis
- Utility assessment & impact negotiation (C3 & C4 estimates)
Key skills & experience:
- Showcase consulting skills and experiences
- Proficient in highways & civil engineering design using software such as Civil 3D, Site 3D, AutoTrack & MicroDrainage/Flow
- Self-motivated with initiative, able to manage technical approvals independently
- Knowledge of UK highway planning, S38 / 278 Agreements, MfS & DMRB standards
- Understanding of drainage adoption, S106 / 104, UK best practices, Sewers for Adoption & SuDS Manual
Desirable:
- Candidates must have strong experience in detailed design, highway construction, and drainage design.
