The business operates across both retail and wholesale, with its own portfolio of well-known brands distributed across the UK, Ireland and Europe. In this role you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, leading a team across finance and administration. This is a broad, hands-on role with strong commercial exposure and the opportunity to play a key part in the continued development of the finance function. Key responsibilities include: Leading and developing the finance and administration team Producing monthly management accounts and Board reporting Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning Providing commercial analysis across sales, margins, profitability and overheads Managing cash flow, working capital, treasury and banking relationships Overseeing stock accounting and margin analysis Maintaining strong financial controls and statutory compliance Managing relationships with auditors, banks and external advisers Leading finance systems and ERP improvements Driving process improvement and reporting efficiencies Supporting the wider management team with commercial insight and financial challenge Requirements: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), Strong commercial and analytical skills Excellent Excel skills Strong leadership and team development experience Confident working with senior stakeholders Strong financial control, management reporting and budgeting experience Proactive and improvement-focused approach Ability to work at both strategic and hands-on levels For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career, get in touch with Cian Duddy @ HIREIQ for a confidential chat.
