The Role

As Hire Controller, you'll be at the heart of the operation, managing the hire process from enquiry through to off-hire. You'll work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly, equipment is available when needed, and customers receive a first-class experience every time.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing the full hire lifecycle from enquiry to off-hire
  
• Coordinating deliveries, collections, and customer requirements
  
• Maximising fleet utilisation and product availability
  
• Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
  
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving queries quickly
  
• Working closely with operations and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  
• Maintaining accurate hire records, contracts, and invoicing
  
• Identifying opportunities to increase hire revenue and grow customer accounts
  

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a hire, plant, tool hire, modular, construction, accommodation, or related industry
  
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
  
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  
• A proactive, customer-first attitude
  
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
  
• Commercial awareness and a drive to contribute to business growth
  
• A positive approach with a natural problem-solving mindset
