Senior Site Manager

Our client is a leading construction firm known for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors. With a commitment to excellence, we are excited to launch a major new build education project in South London.

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee the construction of this significant education project. You will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and coordinate all site activities, ensuring compliance with project schedules.
2. Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
3. Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
4. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
5. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and the project team to provide updates and resolve issues.
6. Prepare and maintain accurate site reports and documentation.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry, particularly in new build RC projects.
2. Tier 1 main contracting experience.
3. Strong understanding of construction processes, quality control, and safety management.
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
5. Relevant qualifications (e.g., CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid) are essential.
6. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
