Trading Area & Facilities
Chambers is a large and fairly modern pub which is split over two floors. There is plenty of fixed seating available and a pool table. The bar on the first floor is a large open space that can be adapted as a meeting space, function room or late night venue. The architecture of the pub is quite impressive – it was formerly a bank and is on a corner plot in a busy part of town. Its large windows allow for plenty of light and also showcase the pub from the outside.
Busy Town Centre Venue with Potential
Chambers is located in the heart of Barnsley town centre – only five minutes from the nearest University Campus and ten minutes from local rail links. Due to the nature of its location, the pub benefits from plenty of passing trade and ample opportunity to convert passers-by into customers. Its current trade consists of young people and town centre revellers - service can be quite fast paced during peak periods. It is a large site, split over two floors – the ground floor functions as a modern bar with a pool table while the bar on the first floor can be used as a late night venue, private function room or even hired out as a conference space during the day. Chambers would benefit from a well promoted and exciting events calendar.
