HeavyJobs is recruiting for a leading hydraulic engineering services provider. Our client offers maintenance and repair services across South Wales and the South West with some UK wide travel, focusing on Energy from Waste, industrial, power generation, and defence sectors. We are looking for two Hydraulic Engineers/Technicians to join a growing team. This is your chance to work with advanced equipment and contribute to high‑impact projects.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Service, installation, and maintenance of equipment
  • Depot‑based pressure testing and hot oil flushing
  • Maintain flushing rigs, filtration trolleys, and hydrostatic test pumps
  • Build equipment from drawings
  • Perform “Health Check” analyses and prepare reports
  • Diagnose issues and compile remedial reports
  • Manage installation/maintenance projects
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers
  • Prepare quotations for spares, repairs, and site work
  • Maintain good relationships with key accounts

Candidate Attributes:

  • ONC/D in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (essential)
  • Familiarity with hydraulic fluid contamination codes
  • Experience with electromechanical systems and fault finding
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
  • Good IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Full driving license and eligible to work in the UK
